In this intimate series, Liu explores the idea of stillness as a powerful form of connection. Rather than travelling outward, she turns inward, using personal spaces as portals to engage with the world. Light, memory, sound and atmosphere drift in and settle. These quiet, everyday moments become vessels for reflection, imagination and a deeper awareness of the outside.
The work blends still life and personal study, using soft light and tactile details to evoke emotion. Through gentle compositions and an introspective tone, Liu shows that presence does not depend on movement and that staying in one place can still offer infinite ways to belong.
